How we show prices
MyDentalPrice provides dental cost information. It is not an insurance company, a dental insurance plan or a discount plan, and no price on this site is a quote or a guarantee.
Price labels
- Starting price: The lowest price for the simplest case at this practice. Your price may be higher after an exam.
- Promotional price: A special offer from this practice. Its terms are shown with the price.
- Typical range: What most of this practice's patients pay. Your price can fall outside this range.
- Flat fee: A fixed fee at this practice for the service described.
- Requires an exam: The dentist needs to examine you before giving a price.
Who sets your price
Your dentist decides your treatment plan after an exam, and the dental office sets its fees. Your insurer or plan decides what it covers. Your final cost may differ from any price shown here.
Every price belongs to one practice location
Each price on MyDentalPrice is set by one participating practice for its own location, and is shown only with that practice’s name. A price at one practice is not a standard, average or typical price at any other practice, and we never copy one practice’s prices to another.
How prices get published
Every price is entered with its source, approved by the practice that set it, and given a review date, which we show as the date the practice verified it. A practice may also choose not to publish a price. Where there is no public price, or a price is past its review date, you see “Request a Price Estimate” and the practice can answer you directly.
Prices in Spanish
Prices and their conditions are the same in English and Spanish. If the two versions ever differ, the office confirms the correct price before treatment.
